Services
Pay tuition costs for a 2 year program that leads to an in-demand credential.
Reimburse mileage to and from schooling or training.
Purchase required clothing, tools, books, or equipment for training.
Paid Work Experience with local businesses.
More services may be provided to address participant needs.
The Process
Contact a career specialist at 937-695-0316 and answer screening questions to determine if you may be eligible for the program. The career specialist will provide information on how to complete the following steps.
Complete the FuturePlans assessment. This takes between 2-3 hours.
Come in and complete an intake application and interview packet.
Complete a skills assessment (WorkKeys or WRAT assessment). The WRAT takes under an hour to complete.
Complete an eligibility interview.
Complete orientation with a career specialist.
This process may take up to one month depending on the training requirements. We encourage interested individuals begin their journey well before their training begins.
Eligibility
Many factors go into determining eligibility for Education and Training services. All applicants must be eighteen or older and eligible to work in the USA. Aside from that, eligibility is determined by life circumstances including the below. This list is not exhaustive and we encourage anyone in need of services to apply.
Household/Individual Income
Underemployed or currently laid off
Loss of spousal support
A military spouse
